Collection: Sally Herbert

Sally Herbert is an Auckland-based Contemporary Jeweller that is inspired by the various textures & forms of our natural world, interwoven with both historical & cultural references.

Sally found her passion within jewellery design when she realised that all her array of skills & creativity could be honed into the singular medium of jewellery. Herbert works primarily with precious metals Silver & Bronze with highlights of Gold, Brass & Copper. Throughout the process, Sally's design focus is on the finished surface of the work - aiming to create contemporary jewellery that is organic & sculptural within form & feel.

Herbert's jewellery pieces each have a unique voice but are all part of the same conversation. An influence within Sally's work is that of the Japanese philosophy 'Wabi-Sabi' - the acceptance of the imperfect & simplicity. Sally aims to embrace imperfections & celebrate the materials.
