Vivian Keenan
Vivian Keenan is Sculptor from the beautiful Great Barrier Island. Keenan's sculptures are created from recycled Copper, where form & texture are integral within her sculptures. The process of working with Copper accommodates to Vivian's unlimited experimentation - the malleability & strength of the metal allows Keenan to creatively navigate form & texture within her pieces.
Through living & working on Great Barrier Island Keenan's craft is influenced by her environment - the native bush, the ocean & its marine life. Not only influenced by New Zealand's nature, Vivian often incorporates weaving techniques within her sculptures - a nod to her previous occupation as a basketmaker.
Vivian Keenan is one of New Zealand's leading Sculpture Artists & embodies the essence of Aotearoa (New Zealand) within every piece she lays her hand to.
We are proud to support, Vivian Keenan!
